OUR VISION

We summarize our vision using the acronym WORD. We will be devoted to Worship, Outreach, Relationship, and Doctrine.

Worship: We will love Jesus passionately

This is where it starts. Everything grows out of our relationship with ouR Creator and King. We want to be a community that loves God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We want to be men and women of prayer, not just worshipping by singing, but in everything that we do, we will live lives of worship.

Outreach: We will love the lost sacrificially.

We understand that we are God’s representatives on this planet. The greatest thing in life is having a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. This is the message we carry. We want everyone in Oakville and western Mississauga to hear and have an opportunity to respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Relationship: We will love each other authentically.

We are called to live in community; we need each other. We gather every Sunday corporately; we also gather during the week in one another’s homes and other places. We are friends. We do life together.

Doctrine: We will love God’s Word thoroughly.

We believe every Christian should be a healthy and growing Christian. This only happens when the Bible takes precedent in our lives. It’s the teaching and living out of God’s Word that truly changes lives for eternity. The Bible is central to all we do.

GOD'S CHURCH

We are a simple church who believes in loving God and loving others. We are part of a family of Calvary Chapel churches throughout the world; and while we believe God is moving in a variety of different groups and organizations, we are glad to be part of what He is doing through our church. Calvary Chapels are known for teaching the Bible simply; book by book, verse by verse.

OUR BELIEF

Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’This is the first and great commandment.the second is like it: And ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:37-39)
